Denise's Fudge
An old-fashioned stovetop chocolate fudge with marshmallows and chopped nuts — cooked, poured, cooled, and cut into squares.

Ingredients
- 1⅔ cups white sugar
- ⅔ cup evaporated milk
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 (6 ounce) package milk chocolate chips
- 16 large marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Method
- Add the sugar, milk, butter, and salt together in a saucepan. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add the chocolate chips while stirring and cook until melted. Remove from heat, add marshmallows, vanilla, and nuts, and stir well.
- Pour into an 8-inch pan, leave it to cool, and cut into squares. Serve!
